For Christmas I was gifted the patchwork block book The Splendid Sampler. It has 100 lovely six inch blocks inside, perfect for the Six Inch Block of the Week challenge. This week I have chosen the Pieces of Friendship block to follow on from last couple of weeks Friendship blocks.

I like the pinwheel feel of the block but with a twist of the diamond in the middle

My first two blocks are from my stash and from my Alison Glass fabrics.

My Second Set of blocks are Avery from Ruby Star Collective and from my Liberty Fabric collection.

So that’s it the Pieces of Friendship block complete. It’s week 9. I’m going to do a round up post next week of my first 9 blocks and then we shall see where we go next!
