Another day, another new stitch. I don’t imagine I’ll do a new stitch every day but I’m fully two feet in with this new project of a stitch wheel so we will see how it goes! Today is the French Knot and Pistil Stitch.

The Pistil Stitch is a variation on the french knot where you sew a tail to the knot while you tie. The different lengths are great. I love it.

You can start to see my colour formation on this too. I bought some “brights” Paint Box threads from Artisan. They are so vibrant and I love them. We shall see how the wheel develops as I add to it…
