Yes my lovely people, October Oops! Where did the last six months go since my last post? There’s been a whole load of ups and downs in the Tiny Makes household that have just about done me in. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. My Tiny light is shining strong and we need to shout out an October hooray!

The past few months I have been concentrating on me and mine, various precarious jobs, losses and a massive shake up in our house hold means I’ve only just been holding it together. Two Tiny Makes has definately been on the back seat of my mind. Opportunities arrise though when you least expect it.

The Business I always dream about

Today I started my business training with The Growing Club on their Roots and Shoots programme. I feel immensly lucky to be given the opportunity to work with so many amazing women to help turn Two Tiny Makes into the business I always dream about.

Both of us being out of work gave me the push after not working for 6 years to tell someone about my idea. Now I’m going to run with it and see myself fly. Expect lots of new stuff, new ideas, new, new and new!

Embroidery

Now in the spirit of Two Tiny Makes I will show you the finished embroidery piece I was working on last time I shared my making on the blog.

A Colourful rainbow stitch wheel with 50 different embroidery stitches surrounded by bright patchwork scraps

This was an embroidery project that I completed from Cathy Reevy, a Stitch Wheel. All the tutorials for each stitch are in her YouTube Chanel it’s a wonderful free embroidery project!

I went one step further and used up some tiny Alison Glass scraps to create a rainbow patchwork border. I’ve quilted with a running stitch and I’ll be turning this into a giant pouch for my embroidery projects!

Thanks for keeping with me and let’s turn this October Oops into and October hooray!!
